YOUR SUPER POWER

By September 16, 2016December 16th, 2022Parenting the Strong Willed Child, Uncategorized

I have read SO many parenting books over the years.

In each and every one I learn something new.

It may be a great new tool to use with your kids that I simplify into language that parents understand and can relate to.

This is what I do.  I think it’s my super power.

I read and learn about stuff that other people find boring about humans and raising kids.

I find these resources riveting.

Since I’m a real mom and not a clinician, my perspective is always about putting these complex theories into practice in real life.

Then I do it and see if the “stuff” actually pans out and works.

If it does, then I tell other parents about it and we further test the tools in real life situations.

So far there are a lot of them that seem like magic.

They are helping to transform families and lives.

If you ask me what I do, I would tell you, “I help parents keep their cool during heated moments with their kiddos.”

This is my focus because to actually use the awesome parenting tools that are out there, you can’t behave like a lunatic when your kids are swirling in lunacy.

I’m a mom.  I’m a parent coach.  I teach stuff I’ve mostly learned from therapists, doctors, coaches and teachers.

I’ve practiced everything I teach on my own people and they have benefitted our family.

This is why I believe in them and teach you guys the “stuff”.

Let me know if you’d like to hear more.

“What you focus on…GROWS.”

Every time I talk to y’all about this “stuff”, it strengthens my most important relationships as well.

Thanks for showing up and joining this parenting party.  I’m really glad you’re here.

What’s YOUR super power you can bring into your most important relationships?

Don’t live another moment accepting less for yourself and those you love.

You deserve it.
